Cross Sum is a puzzle game in the style of Kakuro, that challenges us to complete a crossword-like grid with numbers instead of words. Cross Sum is a game that requires a strong mental effort and patience, since as we advance through levels, the grid gets larger in size, and the game becomes more tricky.
The grid consists of columns and rows, with a clue number for each one. What we have to do is complete the blank tiles with numbers from 1 to 9, in such a way so that the sum of the digits results in the number of the clue. Numbers can be inserted with the keyboard, or by clicking the panel on the game interface. In case rules are not clear, users can read the help file, which includes a comprehensive introduction to the game, as well as a series of strategies for those who want to become experts.
The freeware version of the program comes with 35 games, which players can choose from at any moment according to their skill level. The program's interface, on the other hand, is neatly organized and offers basic features such as restart game, or different tools to insert numbers in the grid.
